More than 400,000 people marched through mid-town Manhattan in New York City yesterday demanding bold action on climate change. This is the biggest climate action march in history, but it was just one of 2,600 events — yes 2,600 separate events from around the world yesterday. This day of climate action was a powerful signal to leaders from around the world that serious action is needed and expected.
