In August, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced his intention to purchase 69,000 acres of former Finch, Pruyn & Company lands from the Nature Conservancy for addition to the “forever wild” Forest Preserve. PROTECT heartily congratulates the Governor, Nature Conservancy and Finch Paper in this extraordinary land protection achievement.
